My favorite thing to do is make a person laugh or cry, preferably both, when I tell them of information I’ve discovered about their family, or when I’ve brought their old slides or films back to life. As a former homeschool teacher, network and database administrator, and graphic designer, and as a current genealogist, I have a lot of tools in my arsenal to make that happen.

When researching people that lived around Milwaukee county, one quickly finds the lack of pre-1900 vital records . Cemeteries can be a huge help, but in many cases, currently aren’t. Many have disappeared, and for those that exist, there’s no one place to find information on interments. I’m working to remedy that.
